Health Hazards (pure substances)Substances are chemical elements and their compounds in the natural state as obtained by any production process – the definition of substance includes any additive necessary to preserve the stability of the product and any impurities deriving from the process used, but excludes any solvent which may be separated without offering the stability of the substance or changing its composition. The GHS has 10 Health Hazard classes which are listed below, along with their routes of exposure. Each Health Hazard Class contains one or more hazard categories.
