Physical Hazards Info
Physical HazardsPhysical Hazards are substances which threaten your physical safety. In the GHS, there are 16 classes that are considered Physical Hazards. These classes were largely based on the already existing criteria currently being used by the UN Model Regulation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. From a classification standpoint, it is assumed that mixtures will be tested for physical hazards. Each Physical Hazard Class contains one or more hazard categories.
