SITEHAWK PROVIDES DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY TOP-SCREEN ASSISTANCE

Nashville, TN (November 28, 2007) – SiteHawk announces the release of a powerful cross-referenced reporting tool to assist facilities in determining if they must submit a Top-Screen report to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as required by 6 CFR Part 27, including § 27.210(a)(1)(i). SiteHawk released a preliminary reporting tool this past August. Immediately after the DHS released the final rule November 2nd and prior to it being published to the Federal Register, SiteHawk updated their reporting tool based on the finalized Appendix A: Chemicals of Interest list. A 60 day count-down to the due date for submittal of the Top-Screen for affected facilities began upon publishing the Final Rule, Appendix A to the Federal Register, which happened November 20th, 2007. "Our customers are expressing relief and gratitude that they are able to have access to such relevant information so quickly," Kim Stier, President and CEO of SiteHawk reported. "We are pleased that our customers find peace-of-mind in knowing they are able to rely on SiteHawk for timely information and expert knowledge on regulatory topics like the DHS Appendix A: Chemicals of Interest list."

SiteHawk customers are able to generate a comprehensive report in seconds, which jump starts their reporting process and puts them ahead of the curve. Because SiteHawk indexes pertinent data fields for each material, facilities can efficiently determine which materials are, or contain constituents that are, subject to the Appendix A: Chemicals of Interest list. SiteHawk also provides relevant information like threshold quantities related to the type of threat (theft, security, release, etc.). In addition to supplying the necessary information, the SiteHawk report has the user- friendly layout and sorting options users have come to expect from SiteHawk.
