Toronto, Ontario (May 5, 2015) — SiteHawk, a leading provider of web-based chemical data management software and services for the environmental, health and safety industry, today announced the opening of its office in Toronto, Ontario. The new office will expand SiteHawk’s reach to clients across Canada and significantly strengthen the company’s presence in the market.
After more than two decades of serving clients from its U.S. headquarters in Tennessee, SiteHawk has incorporated in Canada to support existing clients and answer to the increasing demand for its solutions. As part of its strategic plan, SiteHawk’s local presence will keep the company fully abreast of emerging market trends and enable it to better gauge demand for its solutions throughout the Canadian territories and provinces.
“SiteHawk is thrilled to announce the expansion of our presence in Canada,” said Ernie Connon, president and CEO of SiteHawk. “We have a strong commitment to our Canadian customers, and with this new office, we will be able to better establish relationships with Canadian companies.”
This comes at a transformational time as the Canadian government recently announced it will be adopting the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Over the next three years, Canada will implement the WHMIS 2015 regulatory standard, which is modified from the current WHMIS 1998 standard. SiteHawk will bring in-depth experience and resources to help Canadian companies transition their safety data sheets and workplace labels to the modified standard.
