EPA Makes Additions to the Toxics Release Inventory for 2019 Reporting Year

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has officially added 13 specific nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) in a rule that was published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, June 12th. Although this is being added as a category, it only includes the 13 specifically listed substances with CAS numbers. These additions will be effective for the 2019 reporting year with the first reports that must consider these substances being due July 1, 2020.
